As part of this exclusive Dine4Six event, diners will be treated to an intimate dinner in the Cape Grace’s luxurious Windward Room, overlooking the splendour of the V&A marina.
Acclaimed Executive Chef, Malika van Reenen, has cooked in restaurants locally and abroad. She worked at Ginja and Shoga before joining the Cape Grace as sous chef in 2008 and was made executive chef 6 months later. Malika is intrigued by the flavours and aromas of spices and creates dishes with a contemporary flair sprinkled with her Cape Malay heritage.
The 4-Course Tasting Menu will be as follows:
-Tomato, basil, cheese
-Shellfish broth, West coast mussels, coconut curry leaf ice cream, crispy kataifi
Confit quail, seared scallop, prawn toast, sweet corn risotto
Mildly smoked springbok, exotic mushrooms, tortellini, rooibos ginger jus
(Palate Cleanser: Pineapple star anise sorbet, lime cloud)
4th Course (Dessert):
Almond cake, dulcey crème, stone fruit, pineapple marmalade, blood peach sorbet

Filled with natural light from the surrounding marina, opening onto the elegant pool area, The Windward room is perfectly suited to leisurely meetings and intimate gatherings such as a Dine4Six dinner. With the specialised menu to be confirmed, a knowledgeable sommelier will be on hand to pair each dish with its complimentary glass of wine, carefully chosen to bring out the key flavours of both.
