Just off Iconic Bree Street, you will find The Shortmarket Club tucked away in a heritage building on Shortmarket Street. Follow the staircase up to the first floor where the open kitchen is the first thing you see. Watch the chefs in action, as you enjoy a drink at the bar while awaiting the arrival of fellow diners.
Luke Dale-Roberts, Founder of The Test Kitchen, opened The Shortmarket Club with his wife Sandalene in 2016. Although co-owning the establishment, Dale-Roberts plays more of a supportive role here as his commitment to The Test Kitchen and The Pot Luck Club requires that he spend a lot of his time in Woodstock.
The leading role of Head chef belongs to Wesley Randles. As previous head chef at The Pot Luck Club, Wesley has worked closely with Dale-Roberts since the opening of The Test Kitchen and is taking charge of The Shortmarket Club.
