After graduating from The Chef School for Food and Wine, Head Chef Marnus Scholly sharpened his culinary skills in the kitchens of 5- star safari lodges including Singita and Sabi, developing a distinct style which embraces his passion for classic European-style cuisine as well as South African flavours. The kitchen offers innovative “gourmet fare” with an emphasis on seasonal, local and organic produce.
Scholly has a passion for sharing his knowledge of food, and those at the Dine4Six table can look forward to the chef taking them through the menu and presenting his artful creations, with a local boutique wine to compliment each course.
The Chef has prepared both a standard and vegetarian option 3-Course tasting menu.
Standard option: Seabass (Quinoa, cauliflower, tomato, caper, saffron cream).
Vegetarian option: Butternut Gnocchi (Roasted mushroom, spinach, parmesan).
Standard option: Braised Lamb in Caul Fat (Butternut, onion, courgette, aged balsamic jus).
Vegetarian option: Broccoli and Parmesan (Broccoli risotto, celery, thyme).
Bread and Butter (Hot Cross Macaron, chai mascarpone, smoked vanilla ice cream).
