Owned and run by passionate husband and wife team John and Sandy Wyer, Forest Avenue is a quaint, modern restaurant situated on Sussex Terrace, Sussex Road in Dublin 4. Named after the street where Sandy grew up in her native Queens, New York, the restaurant serves contemporary food using the best seasonal ingredients in a relaxed setting.
While working in Germany, John met Sandy and eventually they began their culinary journey together. In Ireland, John worked at Les Gourmandises in Cork before joining L’Ecrivain, Dublin’s famous French restaurant, where he became the head chef and Sandy became the head pastry chef.
With dreams of opening their own restaurant, the couple stumbled upon the opportunity to purchase and renovate an old pizzeria, a fortune stroke of serendipity; transforming it into their very own Forest Avenue.
The dynamic duo will design a special 5-Course Tasting Menu for the DINE4SIX experience. Wine pairing ticket option available.
