How do I book a seat?
  1. From the home screen, select an event that appeals to you
  2. Once in the event screen, select "book a seat"
  3. Select the ticket option you'd like to purchase
  4. List any dietary requirements
  5. Select checkout
  6. Pay within 10 minutes to confirm your booking
How can I pay for my event?

You can pay for an event using a credit card with Paypal, PayFast or SnapScan.

How do I know if an event is fully booked?

Grey plates represent vacant seats. When all the seats are booked the event will say "Fully Booked."

How do I add myself to a waiting list if all the events are full?

We do not currently have a waiting list on the app. If you would like to be added to a waiting list please contact our support team by sending an email to hello@dine4six.com.

What does the ticket price include?
  • The ticket price includes the cost of your meal.
  • Please note that wine/beverages will only be included if clearly stated.
  • 10–15% Waitron gratuity
  • Financial services charge
  • Coordination fee
Can I see who the other diners are?

This information is not provided on the platform at this stage.

Are there loyalty rewards?

There is no set loyalty program in place, however, as a loyal diner, you may receive discounted offers/special invitations.

How do I cancel a booking?
  1. To cancel a booking, select your booking
  2. Select your ticket
  3. Select "Cancel Booking"
  4. Give a reason for your cancellation and select "Cancel booking"
How do I know where my table is?

Once you arrive at the venue, the restaurant's host will take you to the Dine4Six table.

Is there a host at my table?

There is no official host at DINE4SIX tables.

Can I find out who will be at my table before hand?

No. All profiles remain anonymous.

Who do I contact if I'm running late?

You can contact DINE4SIX Support by sending an email to hello@dine4six.com.

What should we do if one of our diners are running late?

Events run on the Chef's schedule. The evening will proceed despite late comers.

How do I sign in?

You can make use of your Facebook or Google account to sign up on Dine4Six and book events.

How do I find events that are near me?

Select your city to filter your search to only show events in your city.

How can I edit my profile?
  1. Select your profile by tapping the profile icon in the top right corner of the home screen
  2. To edit your profile, select the gear icon in the top right hand corner of your profile screen
  3. Select Edit Profile to change your profile details

What value does DINE4SIX offer my restaurant?

DINE4SIX offers exposure to new fine-food enthusiasts as well as to existing customers. Sometimes we will invite media personnel to an event to create content.

How do I sign my restaurant up for Dine4Six?

Are These Events Only For Singles?

DINE4SIX is open to anyone looking to share a quality experience with new people! These events are open to those looking to make new friends at some of the best dining adventures in your city.

How Many Seats Can I Book?

We limit the number of seats you can book per event to 2 (you and a plus one). This is so that we can encourage diversity in the people that you meet.

Are the events non-Alcoholic?

We try to organise events that include and exclude alcohol-pairing. When you make a booking, you will be given the option to opt-in for the alcohol-pairing, if available.

What Happens if I Have Food Allergies?

We try and cater for all! During the booking process, within the booking notes section, this will be the opportunity to note any food allergies that the venue and chef should be aware of. Should the restaurant not be able to facilitate your request, we will be sure to inform you.

What Happens If the Table Isn't Fully Booked?

Most of our events are capped at 6 people per table. Should the table not fill out, but we believe the guests will still enjoy themselves, we will allow the event to continue! If we feel that we cannot offer the full experience with the numbers booked, we will make contact with the guests and offer refunds/credit towards their next experience.

What Happens If I Can No Longer Make It? (Concerns, or Cancellations)
  1. A user may cancel their booking for a seat for a Paid Event.
  2. An administration fee may be charged by us for each cancellation.
  3. Should a user cancel their booking for a seat at a Paid Event 72 hours prior to the Paid Event, the user will be refunded 50% of the total ticket amount paid.
  4. Should a user cancel their booking at a Paid Event within 72 hours of the Event, the user will forfeit 100% of their booking amount and not be eligible for a refund.
  5. Any refunded amount will be refunded to the user within 10 business days cancellation of a seat;
  6. The Service Provider reserves the right to cancel any Paid Event. Such cancellation shall be communicated to the user who has booked seats at the event, and the user will be refunded their full amount for the Paid Event.
How do I get to my table?

We will send you a link to join a zoom call on the day of your experience.

How are the online events hosted?

We use Meets to host our experiences for us, you will receive an instructional video with a link before the event begins.

Do I need to bring anything to a virtual event?

Yes! You need to bring something to eat, whether it's your favourite dish, something that was easy to make, or a takeaway from a restaurant you are supporting, as long as you bring something to eat while you mingle with your new friends.
